Every being capable of possessing a mind has a playful one at one point or another, seeking pleasure to the edge of satisfaction. At other times, the mind revolves completely, seeking pain to relieve oneself of guilt. Believers of Xerathil believe in the two angels governing over these two sides of the psyche, Ecstasy and Euphoria, sisters who love to twirl hand-in-hand with countless consciences. These two each embody a fine feminine figure, ideal to every man’s eye. One may ask, how can this be certain? Ecstasy and Euphoria chiefly posses the grace of shape-shift, taking the form of any being, object, or even place, separately or together, to their very will. Dual to this is their ability to read minds, stripping them bare of any pretense at given opportunities.
Some say that only one sister possesses a single ability, but none have testified, the sisters always being together, and rarely ever appearing. Like other magical creatures, they have spun tales of their existence throughout many lands as well. One of them being the two raiding a booming red light district, delivered from the heavens by a bridge of elegant divine light. When the ‘scene of the crime’ was inspected and the victims asked, every one of them couldn’t speak, their eyes tearing, their tongues salivating, their bodies covered in sweat. Some of these people even had their tongues, aside from their bodies, tied literally, some bleeding in sensitive regions, and many still writing from pain, or singing from pleasure. Further records state that a child was also found in the place. Whilst everyone was on the floor, their bodily functions twisted and turned, the child was unscathed. Bearing innocence in his/her eyes, people only presumed the child was blessed, and that this truly was the work of angels.
Nobody is certain of what the two sisters truly look like, aside from their femininity and unrivaled beauty. Other legends say that Ecstasy and Euphoria took down a legion of incubi and succubi, conjuring a variety of weapons, such as whips, chains, and wheels. The purity of these angels were questioned once, but those who pursued in their ridiculing have been found with abnormal flushes of pleasure, claiming that they have been awarded by goddesses.
