Phlyndir

Phlyndir is a world of floating continents separated by great mist oceans and connected by massive sky bridges. The world is held together by a glowing blue core of immense power believed to have been created by the gods. A golden-white sun rises everyday to grace the land with light and warmth, and three moons, locked in a stationary triangular orbit with each other make up the northern sky. Grasslands as far as the eye can see, lush meadows filled with flowers having all kinds of colors, forests so thick and full of vegetation that sunlight is blocked off from the forest floor, scorching barren desert with endless dunes of sand, and great mountains with frozen snowy white peaks all make up the continents of Phlyndir.

Though its continents are separated by great mist oceans, sometimes stretching hundreds of kilometers, this does not stop its inhabitants from trading or traveling between different destinations across Phlyndir. Though it is entirely possible to travel by land using the massive sky bridges, it is by far faster and safer to travel by airships. The speed and security for traveling in an airship, however, comes with a price; It is also by far more expensive to travel in an airship compared to traveling by land. The airship network operates in all major destinations across Phlyndir. Ferrying the elite and those that can afford its charges to wherever they want to go.

Massive sky bridges connect Phlyndir, allowing its inhabitants to travel across the floating continents by land. These massive structures have been around long before civilization flourished on Phlyndir. Ehrui scholars believe that these massive structures were built by "The First Ones", an ancient race that predates even the cataclysm itself. How powerful this ancient race was is unclear, but, having built these massive sky bridges is proof enough of their capabilities. Like all other ruins on Phlyndir, these massive sky bridges have stood the test of time and, even now, is still more stable than the best structures on Phlyndir.

Though it is not known how the bridge is able to hold itself up, Ehrui scholars have concluded that this feat is accomplished through a harmonious combination of technology and magic. The measurements and materials which makes the bridge stable is a marvel of engineering which even the greatest of Nu'Kyoabe cannot achieve, and the magic which holds the bridge in the air is beyond even the most powerful of Kod-Mezu mystics.
