Astora

The Cathedral City of Astora was once home to the most religious and devout followers of the teachings of it's namesake, a grand city made of the most beautiful marble and gold which housed all of the greatest smiths, warriors, writers, artists, and works of art. Until one day, the great Pope of Astora along with all the people inside the city were cursed with undeath by Sif, first of the dead, causing all of them to go mad for the flesh of the living. However, even in undeath they all still possess their traits and abilities. Legend has it that even the greatest pair of warriors known as Schion Slayer Articer and Executioner Scheg were cursed alongside the other inhabitants and guard the Pope's still undead Quarters, with skill that is said to be unmatched throughout the centuries, as no warrior has ever made it past the undead duo.

There is however a small merchant encampment before the entrance of Astora that provides anyone foolish enough to brave the cursed city, for the tales of riches and glory, with supplies and a place to rest.

It is also said that one of the greatest works of art of the great artist Porthos, lies inside the central cathredal of Astora, legend has it that whoever has the doll of aramis can actually go into the giant painting and live the world Porthos has made.

Underneath the city of Astora are the which housed the dead.

Where do you imagine Astora to be, based on the map?

uhh i have yet to study your map.... or think about the races involved as i always just imagined humans ..... but you can just do whatever for that
