Haegg
These are a spin off from the gasoru race. They come from the same ancestral tree, but instead of following the path of the more reptilian gasoru, they followed a more amphibious path. They live in small tribes on the base of cliff-sides near bodies of water. Their amphibious nature has evolved them a little differently than their gasoru cousins. They have slimmer bodies which allow them to move sleekly underwater, longer tails which allow them to swim really fast, webbed-feet and hands which allow them to paddle naturally underwater, and their mouth resembles that of a crocodile, not too short or too long.
They do not undergo the right of passage like their gasoru cousins so they do not gain incredible strength, however, their strength is still greater than a gasoru which has not undergone the right of passage because their muscle structure is for that of a swimmers, toning and growing their limbs.
When on land they prefer to walk on both their hands and legs, like a crocodile, but they are capable of walking on their legs alone. They have hardened claws in their hands which they use as secondary weapons. Their primary weapons are their long tails which they commonly equip with a sting.
Little is known about their culture, or if they even talk, because they commonly retreat into the bottom of the seas when they are threatened and all other encounters have ended badly for one party. What is known however, is that they are very territorial and will fight to keep their territory from an intruder.
