Why is it that Crystal Shields are restricted to the Kod-mezu when the other races are btter suited for doing such hard hits? Putting it simply, the magic put into the fighting style of a Crystal Shield is for Speed and Accuracy, which are principle attributes that the Crystal Shields themselves boast about.

However, Le-radelle, daughter of two Kod-Mezu high priests and an enchantress by profession, was able to teach her bodyguard how to be a Crystal Shield. What makes this so wondrous is: Her bodyguard is a full blooded Gasoru.

One night, bandits struck Le-radelle's home. Upon seeing the thieves, she quickly ordered her bodyguard, then a master of the Crystal Shield's stance, to make quick work out of the would-be intruders. Le-radelle had a seat fashioned on her bodyguard's back, and after demonstrating her bodyguard's awesome power, she quickly switched profession as a soldier of the Mezian army, quickly advancing ranks, becoming the youngest captain in Kod-mezu history.

Le-radelle explained that she saddled on her bodyguard's back to grant him easy exposure to her magical field. This way, she was able to properly heighten his senses and magically guide each strike made, as well as speed up his reflexes. This method, however, could not be replicated by any other enchanter, and Le-radelle went down in history as the only Kod-mezu to ever teach an outsider the Crystal Shield profession.

Little did the Kod-mezu know that Le-radelle gave birth to a child with Gasoru blood.

Holy Crap! Inter-species! From enchantress to soldier? So she learns how to fight or she uses her magic to fight? Does she bring her Gasoru body guard with her when she becomes a soldier? or is he relieved and stuff coz when she joins she is like the lowest rank and those types don't get body guards?

[Hureciel]

She soon after switched profession as a soldier of the Mezian army, ever riding her famous/infamous bodyguard to battle, quickly advancing ranks, becoming the youngest captain in Kod-mezu history.

So like, she became a soldier of the army because she would be more useful riding her Gasoru bodyguard to battle, instead of being just another enchantress.

And yeah. She had a child with the bodyguard. The close relations the two had would be the underlying reason as to why she was able to expose him to her magical field properly. This is why no other Kod-mezu has been able to do this.

So shes a unique character? A hero so to speak? We should make a story for her, and just make her story integrate with the story of everyone else. It will be epic.

Hero-type. I was planning on creating a single-player campaign about the thins she did.

[Ted]

Great, this is exactly how games are made, yeah? Then perhaps we should put in a period so establish a time frame of the events and make the story longer, include the details and stuff. I am going to work on the story of another hero too, but maybe next time.

I don't think this bit is big enough to put in a period unless she really did something world-changing, like made peace or helped conquer various lands for long periods of time beyond her existence. What do you think?
