The Cave of Angels

Over the coastline of an Ehrui harbor city, Uzal, lies a cave that angels inhabit. Four golden wings sprouting from their backs, soft faces, and golden, diamond encrusted broadswords tucked underneath their cloaks. Angels are known throughout Phlyndir as signs of goodluck, however...

These angels predicted the doom of the harbor city. They said that the Gods of old have seen the treachery that has befallen the city, and have judged that they must be destroyed for the benefit of the whole continent. Stricken with fear, the citizens asked the angels about what they could do. They replied with sacrifices to the Gods of old. Every week, a villager is pulled out of the city and led into the Cave of Angels, where the angels may lead the citizen to the Gods and appease them, promising peaceful and quick deaths.

However, on certain nights, wild laughter can be heard within the Cave of Angels, and those whom venture into the cave have never returned from it before.

So these angels are like deceivers? They lead people into the cave and do stuff with them, they aren't angels then?

[Hureciel]

Yeap. That's the gist of it. I'm thinking malevolent spirits or some creature living in the cave which is capable of projecting illusions. Probably eating the sacrifices

So this is an entity? Were collecting quite a few of these, we should make a Entity section for these things. Once we finalize entities we close the thread so its final then we transfer them to the cannon.

More than just an entity. This is also part of culture of a village, maybe a whole race. A cave of angels. I'm not concentrating on the "angels" alone.

We could separate this into 2 threads, one is the story of the cave of angels and how it affects the culture, and the other is a discussion of the actual entity inside the cave.
