"Out here we have Vipers, Naarkas, and some giant spiky Scorpions. Everyone's coming up with their own name for the Scorpions, but I'm just gonna call them Scorpions."
-Giblet's Journal
The scorpions of the Thelsphyr Desert are not unlike normal scorpions that one may find anywhere else, with exception to their size. These scorpions use their incredible pincers as vise grips to keep enemies in place, strangling them. If a scorpion's prey proves to be difficult to deal with, it'll make use of its rather large stinger on its tail, inflicting a poison that will surely kill any weary adventurer, if the sheer force of the pierce doesn't.
Adapted to the incredible heat of the desert, they've developed a half meter-thick carapace and exoskeleton, able to keep its soft undershell cool, as well as protecting it from almost all blunt forces. It is unsure for what reason they developed spikes on this carapace, but it looks scary as hell with it than without. However, these giant monstrosities aren't without weaknesses; topple one on its back, and they're pretty much a free kill.
